How it works

  1. 1Upload a PDF with a faceless name like 'scan_0001.pdf' or 'document (3).pdf'.
  2. 2The service detects the title: first from file properties, then from the largest text on page one.
  3. 3Download the same PDF under a meaningful file name.

Frequently asked questions

Is the file content changed?
No, the document is passed through byte-for-byte — only the download file name changes.
Where does the name come from?
First from the Title field in the PDF properties; if empty — from the largest text block on the first page (usually the document headline).
What about a scan with no text?
If there are neither properties nor a text layer, the file comes back under its original name — no error.
